I used to hate the rain in Vancouver—not just the constant drizzle, but how everything I wore felt wrong for the city. Jackets were either too hot or too cold, and after dark, I never felt safe. Bags are soaked through. Nothing worked together.

With a background in aerospace structural engineering and over a decade as a fashion and costume technical designer, I’ve always been driven by how things work—and how they should work.

So I started designing my own.
